Who We Are

A local party built on neighbors, not headlines.

The Henry County Republican Party is the official county affiliate of the Indiana Republican Party. We recruit and support conservative candidates for local office, organize precinct committeemen across the county, and give Henry County Republicans a place to meet, volunteer, and make their voices heard.

Indiana has voted Republican in every presidential election since 2016 โ€” Henry County has been a steady part of that coalition. Our work happens closer to home: county council, school boards, and the offices that decide who plows your road.

About the Henry County Republican Party

Who we are, what we stand for, and the people leading the party in New Castle and across Henry County.

Our Story

A county party built one precinct at a time.

The Henry County Republican Party is the official county affiliate of the Indiana Republican Party, organized around the precincts of Henry County and headquartered in the county seat of New Castle. Indiana has voted Republican in every presidential election since 2016, and Henry County has long been part of that coalition. Our focus stays close to home โ€” the county council, school boards, and township offices that shape daily life here.

What We Stand For

Our Platform

Principles that guide every candidate we support in Henry County.

Limited, Accountable Government

Public Safety & the Rule of Law

Standing behind Henry County's law enforcement, first responders, and the constitutional rights of every citizen โ€” including strong support for the Second Amendment and due process.

Strong Schools, Local Control

Keeping education decisions close to home, with parents and local school boards โ€” not distant bureaucracies โ€” in the driver's seat for Henry County's kids.

Become a Precinct Committeeman

Precinct committeemen are elected every four years to represent Republicans in their own neighborhood โ€” organizing voters, distributing information, and turning out the vote precinct by precinct.

Precinct committeemen connect their neighbors to the party โ€” sharing information about candidates and elections, helping neighbors register to vote, and representing their precinct at county conventions.
Indiana precinct committeemen are elected on the primary ballot every four years (2024, 2028, and so on) by Republican voters within their precinct.
Reach out to the county committee ahead of the next filing deadline โ€” we'll help you find your precinct and walk you through filing as a candidate.
