About Raintree Habitat for Humanity

Our Mission: To eliminate poverty housing by building simple, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with qualifying families in Henry County, Indiana.

Our Story

Raintree Habitat for Humanity of Henry County has been serving our community since 1991. As a Christian-based nonprofit organization, we're committed to providing safe, decent, and affordable housing to families in need. Through the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of our donors, and the partnership of our homeowners, we've transformed lives and strengthened our community.

What Makes Us Different

No Profit

Homes are sold to Habitat homeowners at no profit. Mortgage payments are affordable for low-income families.

No Interest

We charge zero interest on mortgages, making homeownership truly accessible to families in need.

Partnership

Homeowners invest sweat equity by working on their own homes and the homes of other families alongside our volunteers.
