Frequently Asked Questions

We're here to answer your questions and provide the information you need. If you don't see your question below, please give us a call!

Am I pregnant? What are the signs?

Common early signs of pregnancy include: missed period, tender or swollen breasts, nausea or morning sickness, increased urination, fatigue, and mood changes. The only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test. We offer free, confidential pregnancy tests - call us today to schedule an appointment.

How accurate are your pregnancy tests?

We use medical-grade pregnancy tests that are 99% accurate when used properly. These are the same quality tests used in medical offices. After a positive test, we can also refer you for an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy and determine how far along you are.

Is my visit really confidential?

Yes! Everything you share with us is completely confidential. We respect your privacy and will not share your information with anyone without your written consent. You can feel safe talking with us about your situation.

Do I need to make an appointment?

While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment so we can ensure someone is available to give you our full attention. Call us at (765) 529-7298 during our business hours.

What are my pregnancy options?

You have three main pregnancy options: parenting, adoption, and abortion. Each option has immediate and long-term impacts on your life. We provide comprehensive, accurate information about all three options so you can make an informed decision that's right for you. We offer:

  • Information about parenting resources and support
  • Connections to trusted adoption agencies
  • Factual information about abortion procedures and potential risks

What if I'm considering abortion?

We understand this is a difficult decision. While we don't provide or refer for abortion services, we can give you accurate information about abortion procedures, potential risks, and other pregnancy options. We recommend confirming your pregnancy with an ultrasound before making any decisions, as many pregnancies end in natural miscarriage. We're here to support you no matter what you decide.

Can my boyfriend/husband come with me?

Absolutely! We encourage partners to be involved and offer services specifically for expectant fathers. An unplanned pregnancy affects both of you, and we're here to support you as a couple.

How does the Earn While You Learn program work?

Our Earn While You Learn program is an incentive-based parenting education program. You complete lessons on topics like pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, and parenting, and you earn points for each lesson. You can then "shop" with your points in our center for diapers, wipes, clothing, and other baby supplies. It's a great way to prepare for parenthood while stocking up on essentials!

What items are available in your material assistance program?

We provide diapers, wipes, maternity clothes, baby clothes (newborn through toddler), baby food, formula assistance, car seats, strollers, swings, cribs, bedding, bottles, and many other baby care items. All items are provided free of charge to our clients.

How does the Christmas room work?

Our Christmas room is a special area where parents can select gifts for their children. It's stocked with toys, books, games, and special items for all ages. The room is available to all our clients during regular hours throughout the year, not just at Christmas!

Are you a religious organization?

We are a non-denominational Christian organization, but our services are available to everyone regardless of religious background or beliefs. You will be treated with respect and compassion no matter who you are.

Do you charge for any of your services?

No! All of our services are completely free of charge. We are funded by donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations in our community who want to support women facing unplanned pregnancies.

What if I'm not pregnant but need help with baby supplies?

Our material assistance program and clothing room are available to parents and expectant parents in our community. Give us a call to discuss your needs and how we can help.

I'm a guy and my girlfriend might be pregnant. How can you help me?

We're here for you too! An unplanned pregnancy can leave you feeling surprised, scared, and uncertain. We can help you understand the situation, discuss your role and responsibilities, and provide support as you navigate this journey. Your voice matters, and we want to help you be the best support possible for your partner.

The Importance of Confirming Your Pregnancy

Before making any major decisions about a pregnancy, it's crucial to confirm that you're actually pregnant and understand how far along you are. Here's why:

Medical-Grade Testing: Home pregnancy tests can sometimes give false results. Our medical-grade tests are 99% accurate and administered by trained professionals.

Ultrasound Confirmation: An ultrasound confirms that the pregnancy is viable (developing normally) and shows exactly how far along you are. Studies show that up to 20% of pregnancies end in natural miscarriage in the first trimester.

Making Informed Decisions: Understanding your gestational age affects which pregnancy options are available to you and what steps you might take next.

We offer free pregnancy testing and can refer you for an ultrasound. Call us today at (765) 529-7298 to get the facts about your pregnancy.
